Bowtie Clutch Pattern

When I first wrote this pattern, the bow tie was a paper-pieced pattern but I thought it might be too hard for a beginner. So I changed it to an applique. One of the reasons I take so long to produce each pattern is I tend to overthink. Obsessively. Anyway, this pattern is another one targetted at a beginner.

I had been selling a similar version of this clutch at craft markets a long time before turning it into a pattern and once again I was surprised by how something so simple can be so popular. In my mind, the fabric sold the clutch.
